David John Fredericks is a left-leaning Toowoomba based technology support solopreneur, investor and small-time philanthropist.
Born in Toowoomba in 1968 from all the disadvantages required for success, raised and educated in the Garden City, he selflessly devotes his time to helping the city's senior citizens learn basic computer literacy and Internet skills. In his travels he has met with some famous people, including astronauts Neil Armstrong and Andy Thomas, former prime minister Bob Hawke, former Queensland premier Campbell Newman, Gold Coast rocket launch entrepreneur Adam Gilmour and quite a few of Toowoomba Regional Councillors. Dave has for a long time been an advocate for the empowerment of women. He also is passionate about the welfare of all creatures great and small and is a member of National Seniors Australia, Toowoomba Business Focus Toastmasters and Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, to name a few organisations. |
