David John Fredericks (born 2 August 1968), nicknamed Dave, is a Toowoomba businessman. He is best known as the founder of a seniors IT support business, and has other interests in the renewables industry and in environmental protection.
Emerging from all the disadvantages required for success, raised and educated in the Garden City, he selflessly devotes his time to helping the city's senior citizens learn basic computer literacy and Internet skills. In his travels he has met with some famous people, including astronauts Neil Armstrong and Andy Thomas, former prime minister Bob Hawke, former Queensland premier Campbell Newman, Gold Coast rocket launch entrepreneur Adam Gilmour and quite a few of Toowoomba Regional Councillors. |
